Augustana College Again Ranked by U.S. News
SIOUX FALLS For the ninth time, Augustana College has been
ranked by U.S. News as one of the best liberal arts colleges in
the region.
U.S. News' America's Best Colleges 2004 lists Augustana as 10th
among Midwestern Comprehensive Colleges-Bachelor's. These institutions
focus on undergraduate education and offer a range of degree programs
in the liberal arts, which account for fewer than half of their
bachelor's degrees, and in professional fields such as business,
nursing, and education. There are 324 comprehensive colleges ranked
within four regions North, South, Midwest, and West.

- 2003 Augustana ranked 10th among Midwestern Comprehensive
Colleges-Bachelor's.
- 2002 Augustana ranked eighth among Midwestern Comprehensive
Colleges Bachelor's, and fifth in best values among Midwestern
Comprehensive Colleges Bachelor's.
- 2001 Augustana ranked 11th among the top 30 Midwest region
liberal arts colleges.
- 2000 Augustana ranked eighth among Midwest regional liberal
arts colleges and third in the top ten list of best values.

in the Midwest region and ninth on the list of best values.
- 1996 Augustana ranked seventh among Midwest regional liberal
arts colleges on the list of best values.
- 1995 Augustana ranked 10th among the Midwest region's best

liberal arts colleges.
