Artists of the Plains Art Show & Sale February 21-23

SIOUX FALLS - The Center for Western Studies at Augustana College hosts the 23rd annual Artists of the Plains Art Show & Sale February 21-23 at the Radisson Encore Hotel, 41st Street and I-29, in Sioux Falls.

The premier showing and reception runs from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Friday, February 21. The awards program begins at 8:00 p.m. with Best of Show awards, and People's Choice awards for both painting and three-dimensional pieces.

Bids for selected pieces on silent auction will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 23.

The show continues Saturday, February 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, February 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Among the contemporary artists invited to participate are Don Clemetson, Arnold Bortnem, JoAnne Bird, Mark Anderson, Russ Duerksen, Bryan Bortnem, John Wilson, James Whartman, Virginia Coudron, Rosemary Millette, Nancyjane Huehl, Joshua Spies, Marion Toillion, Donald Montileaux, Harvey Rattey, Gisele Robinson, Kathy Sigle, and Mike Sougstad.
