McClure, Andersen Ticket Wins ASA Election

SIOUX FALLS - Chris McClure and Josh Andersen were installed as president and vice president, respectively, of the Augustana Student Association during inauguration ceremonies today in the Chapel of Reconciliation.

Augustana President Bruce R. Halverson presided.

McClure and Andersen, both juniors, defeated incumbent president Todd Manion and running mate Jaci Sutton by 22 votes, 406-384.

McClure is from North Platte, Neb. He is majoring in government, philosophy, and economics. He is the son of Jon and Joni McClure.

Andersen is from Sioux Falls. He is majoring in government and international affairs, and economics. He is the son of Dennis and Patricia Andersen.

During today's ceremonies, Andrew Ellsworth was installed as treasurer. Andrew is a business administration major from Madison, S.D. He is the son of Robert and Cynthia Ellsworth.
