Brass Choir to Play At First Lutheran Church in Blair

SIOUX FALLS - The Augustana College Brass Choir will be playing at First Lutheran Church in Blair, Neb., on Saturday, April 17, at 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 18, at 8:00 a.m. Augustana senior Andrea Vercruysse is from Blair and is a member of the Brass Choir. Vercruysse is majoring in music and mathematics. She is the daughter of Lynn and Richard Vercruysse.

Each school year, during the spring semester, the Augustana Brass Choir plays at the home churches of its senior members.

The Augustana Brass Choir began as a fully organized ensemble of the Music Department in 1965. Brass ensembles at Augustana actively contribute to the campus community and the city community as well, both in a purely musical sense and as assistance for religious activities.
