Augustana Hosts Regional Authors' Autography Party

SIOUX FALLS - Six Sioux Falls writers will be honored along with 20 other writers at the 17th annual Regional Authors' Autograph Party at Augustana on April 24.

The six are David Kemp, author of "History of Independent Baseball Leagues 1993-2000;" JoEllen Koerner, author of "Mother, Heal My Self: An Intergenerational Healing Journey Between Two Worlds;" Gary Olson, author of "Sioux Falls, South Dakota: A Pictorial History;" Lynwood Oyos, author of "The Family Farmers' Advocate: South Dakota Farmers' Union, 1914-2000;" Ron Robinson, "Diamond Trump;" and Al Schock, "Poems and Toasts." They will be recognized as leading regional authors at a dinner on April 23, and on April 24 will sign copies of their work from 10:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. in the Fantle Building on the Augustana campus.

Sponsored by the Center for Western Studies as part of the two-day Dakota Conference, the autograph party will also feature the following authors:
