Augustana Library Associates Present 'A Winter's Tale'

SIOUX FALLS - The Augustana Library Associates present "A Winter's Tale: Mystery & Manners" on Saturday, February 5, at 7:30 p.m. in Mikkelsen Library.

Sandra Looney, professor of English at Augustana, is the mistress of ceremony. Dr. Looney began teaching at Augustana in 1964. She is the recipient of the Vernon and Mildred Niebuhr Faculty Excellence Award, the Burlington Northern Excellence in Teaching Award, and the Frederick C. Kohlmeyer Distinguished Teaching Professorship.

Readers for the evening are Janet Lyso, Fred Entwistle, Becky Blue, Peter Gregory, Bruce Williams, and Nancy Hoskins.

Violin music will be provided by Christine Dutton Egan.

A reception follows the program.

Admission is $15 for the general public, and $12.50 for Library Associates members.

The Augustana Library Associates is a support group for the Mikkelsen Library, strengthening the financial base of the library to promote the expansion of library holdings and services, and to enhance opportunities for academic excellence. Additionally, the Library Associates sponsor cultural events for the benefit of members, Augustana College, and the community.
