Jonathan Sweets Recipient of JELD-WEN Scholarship

SIOUX FALLS – Jonathan Sweets of Sioux Falls has been selected to receive the 2005-2006 JELD-WEN Foundation Scholarship. The award is for $2,000.

Sweets is the son of Caroline and Allen Sweets of Sioux Falls. He is a graduate of Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School and will be a full-time student at Augustana College beginning with the 2005-2006 academic year.

At Roosevelt he maintained a strong academic standing while participating in football, track and field, and church choir. He served on the Diversity Committee and the Student Advisory Council.
Recipients of JELD-WEN Foundation Scholarships must be first-year students and live in a community in which a JELD-WEN facility is located. JELD-WEN Millwork Distribution is located at 1820 E. 54th Street North in Sioux Falls.

The JELD-WEN Foundation is based in Portland, Ore.
