Augustana Professor Appointed National Webmaster for Pi Delta Phi

SIOUX FALLS – Dr. Scott Fish, associate professor of Modern Foreign Languages (French) has been appointed national webmaster for Pi Delta Phi, the National French Honor Society.

Founded at the University of California, Berkeley, in 1906, Pi Delta Phi is one of the oldest collegiate honor societies in the country. The society has more than 325 chapters established at representative public and private colleges and universities in almost every state as well as chapters in Paris and Aix-en-Provence. Currently there are more than 60,000 members.

Augustana College’s chapter, Mu Alpha, was established in 1997.

Dr. Fish has served as North Central vice president and member of the executive board since 2002.
