Vikings’ Brad Hunt Named Conference Pitcher of the Week

SIOUX FALLS – Augustana pitcher Brad Hunt has been selected North Central Conference pitcher of the week, the NCC office announced Monday.

The 5-foot-11 senior from Rapid City, S.D., notched his first win of the season on Saturday, keying Augustana’s 8-1 win over Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo. Hunt yielded only one run and one hit and had a no-hitter through five innings. He issued three walks and retired seven batters on strikes.

Augustana won three of the four games with Southwest Baptist and is 7-5 on the season.
