Augustana Senior Art Show Runs Through May 22

SIOUX FALLS – A variety of works are on display at the Augustana Senior Art Show that runs through May 22 at the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery. Additional pieces may be viewed in the Humanities Building concourse and at the Edith Mortenson Center.

The show is sponsored by the Art and Anthropology Department at Augustana College and features the work of graduating art majors. Paintings, drawings, sculpture, digital images and ceramics are among the media exhibited.

Contributing their work to the exhibit are Joan Ashton (Sioux Falls), Naomi Bray (Greenville, PA), Eric Epling (Canton, SD), Andy Fett (Grand Island, NE), Chet Greenlee (Sioux Falls), Megan Kean (Rapid City, SD), Tami Markham (Winterhaven, FL), Rose Medina (Sioux Falls), Leah Simmons (Rapid City, SD), Kahthrina Ruud (Centerville, SD), and Cheryl Wilsey (Sioux Falls).

The students will be present to comment on their pieces at a special reception on Friday, May 6, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery.

Regular gallery hours are 12:00-5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. The gallery is closed Monday.
