Three Augustana Students Join Pi Delta Phi
SIOUX FALLS – Four Augustana students have been initiated into Pi Delta Phi, the National French Honor Society.
The students are Bridget Lervick, Angela Lucas, Diana Ringen, and Amanda Robson.
Bridget Lervick is a junior from Bismarck, N.D. She is majoring in biology and French. Bridget is the daughter of Kristie and Tim Lervick of Bismarck.
Angela Lucas is a senior from Apple Valley, Minn. She is majoring in English and international studies. Angela is the daughter of Gina Pitera of Apple Valley, and Russell Lucas of Claremont, Minn.
Diana Ringen is a senior from Lennox, S.D. She is majoring in English. Diana is the daughter of Tonya and Arthur Ringen of Lennox.
Amanda Robson is a sophomore from Fargo, N.D. She is majoring in modern foreign languages and government/international affairs. She is the daughter of Helane and Ronald Robson of Fargo.
Pi Delta Phi recognizes students’ outstanding scholarship in French language and the literatures of the French-speaking world. Established in 1906, Pi Delta Phi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is represented at public and private colleges and universities throughout the United States.
Augustana College’s chapter, Mu Alpha, was established in 1997 and is the 288th chapter of the society. Augustana’s faculty advisor is Dr. Scott Fish, associate professor of modern foreign languages-French. |
