It was a huge weekend in Viking athletics – the women's golf team and the women's tennis team both took home NSIC championships!

Women's Golf Wins Seventh Straight NSIC Championship

Augustana women's golf wins NSIC championshipAugustana University women's golf shot a 313 in the fourth and final round of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Championships on Sunday, April 24, to finish the 72-hole tournament at 93-over-par 1245 (313-310-309-313) securing its seventh straight NSIC Championship. Augustana finished 63 strokes ahead of second-place finisher Concordia-St. Paul who fired a 156-over-par 1308.

Women's Tennis Wins Sixth Straight NSIC Tournament Championship

Augustana women's tennis wins NSIC championshipNo. 1 seed Augustana women's tennis captured their sixth straight NSIC Championship with a 5-0 victory over Upper Iowa on Sunday, April 24, at Lifetime Fitness Oakdale in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The win gives the Vikings a 14-1 record on the year; the loss dropped the Peacocks to 13-9.
