| Beyond indifference. Beyond tolerance. Even beyond assimilation, how
might our entire community benefit from encouraging GLBT individuals to
recognize and use gifts that are uniquely theirs? With an emphasis on learning
and discovering something of GLBT history, culture and traditions, this
program will challenge your mind and provide an opportunity to have fun,
as well.
Leo Treadway has been a Ministry Associate with St. Paul-Reformation
Lutheran Church, St. Paul, MN., an educator who developed a program in
support of GLBT students, teachers, staff, and families in the Minneapolis
public schools, a community organizer, and activist. He is currently Chair
of the Minnesota Historical Society's GLBT Collections Working Group, involved
in acquisition and building the collections, educational programming, and
research on GLBT topics.
