Chapel Message
You Can't Go Home Again, Or Can You?
Murray Haar
9 May 2005

I'd like to commend that the Augustana College community not only read, but also listen carefully to what Dr. Haar is saying in this talk. We are at a critical time in our community and we need to reaffirm our identity. To welcome the stranger, to link in faith with those who have gone before us and to care for the created order is to know who we are. In times when it's easy to condemn, to create separations, and decide who is in and who is out, we need more than ever to find ways to connect, to stop the killing, and to create a hospitable place where all are welcome.
