In anticipation of former Vice-President
Gore's visit to campus on January 23, the Center for Western Studies
and the Union Board of Governors have arranged screenings of "An Inconvenient
Truth" in the Back Alley at the following times: Sunday, January 21
@ 5 and 7 PM, and Monday, January 22 @ 9PM.
As well, as part of the "Supper with Somebody" series Professor
Steven Matzner will be talking in the Back Alley on Thursday, January 11
@ 5:30 PM on "Why is Global Warming such a Hot Topic."
The Chair of Moral Values is pleased to sponsor the following session at this year's Nobel Peace Prize Forum: John Roth, "Just Peacemeaking: A Case for Christian Pacifism." Friday, March 9 at 3:30 pm in the Mortensen Theatre.
