Second Annual Fall Theological Conference - September 13-15

Pastors and lay leaders are invited to gather at Kings Inn and Lutheran Memorial Church, Pierre, to hear Dr. Gordon Lathrop, the Schieren Professor of Liturgy at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia. His topic is "Worship, Pure and Simple: The Why and How of Worship." The cost is $50, which includes the second annual Monday night pork barbecue.

Renew Your Worship - October 12

This leadership training workshop, to be presented at Peace Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls, will provide fresh ideas on blending traditional and contemporary worship styles. The instructor, Dr. Robert Webber, is the director of the Institute for Worship Studies and a professor of theology at Wheaton College. The early bird registration cost is $79. Hope for the Prairie - November 8 and 9

This two-day gathering at the Ramkota Inn in Aberdeen will celebrate life and ministry in the Dakotas. Lay and clergy congregation leaders are invited to hear presentations by Bill Easum, author of Dancing with Dinosaurs, and Bob Berglund, former secretary of the Department of Agriculture.
