Greetings to you in the Name of Jesus!
As the Assisant Director of Lutheran Planned Giving (LPG) I enjoy helping people realize the ministry that can happen through planned giving. Whether it's working with individuals or congregations it is exciting to see the minstry that becames possible and the joy that is experienced thru the establishing of deferred gifts, congregational endowments and immediate gifts. Working with LPG I have been able to combine my call to ministry and background in finance. Currently, I also serve as pastor of the Bethany/Belleview Lutheran Parish of Howard, SD. Perviously, I served for 5 years at a five point parish in the Willow Lake area from 1999-2004 and worked with A Christian Ministry in the National Park for over 6 years prior to becoming a pastor. Before receiving my MDiv. from LSTP, I worked in the food service industry and received a BA from Luther College in MIS and Business Adminstration. Along with working with LPG and serving as a pastor, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife Krista is the Associate Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison, SD. We have 2 children, Rachel and Luke.

Lutheran Planned Giving brings together the ministry partners in this area along with the Churchwide ministries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The Lutheran Gift Planning Counselor will help you discover new approaches to provide support for your family and ministries of the church that are important and meaningful to you. These include the member ministries of SD listed, ELCA Churchwide ministries such as colleges, seminaries, campus ministries, Women of the ELCA and more.
