2008 Annual Conference


The 2008 SDWLA Annual Conference and Meeting was held Oct. 17 and 18 at the Radisson Hotel in Rapid city. Our two keynote speakers were: Greg Duncan, President and CEO of InterPrep, Inc., and Eckhard Rölz, Associate Professor of German at South Dakota State University. Thank you to the SDWLA Board and the 2008 Steering Committee for their hard work. A special thank you to Insty-Prints and to all of the generous exhibitors. We'll see you again next October!

2007 Annual Conference


The 2007 SDWLA Annual Conference and Meeting was held Oct. 5 and 6 at the Holiday Inn City Center in Sioux Falls. Our three keynote speakers were: Vickie Scow, consultant for the Nebraska International Languages Association and board member for the Central States Conference; Tom Welch, independent consultant with the International Center for Leadership; and Peg Henson, curriculum technology specialist for the South Dakota Department of Education. Thank you to the SDWLA Board and the 2007 Steering Committee for their hard work. A special thank you to David and Angie Roden of Insty-Prints; Matt Misialek of Holt, Rinehart and Winston; Todd Villotta of Prentice-Hall, Mark Goodin of SANS, Jerry and Marlis Overgard of EMC Paradigm, and Tim Doppler of HMCO for their support of SDWLA. 2006 Annual Conference


The 2006 SDWLA Annual Conference and Meeting was held Oct. 20 and 21 at the Holiday Inn City Center in Sioux Falls. Our dynamic keynote speaker this year was Dr. Robert DiDonato from Miami University in Ohio. Approximately seventy-one world language teachers attented this year's conference; a record for SDWLA. Thank you to the SDWLA Board and the 2006 Steering Committee for their hard work.
