INFORMATION ABOUT THE AUCTION
**
Anyone wishing to make a cash donation toward this fund, may do so by putting the cash/check in an envelope and marking it CARPET FUND along with your name. You may put it in the offering plate any of the next six Sundays and Marcella Jensen will make sure it is credited to your total giving report for the year.**Items for the auction should be brought to the church parking lot between 8:00 and 10:00 that morning. Del Wevik will be “manning the entrance” to the parking lot. Dick Lloyd (and a group of helpers) have volunteered to haul items (that morning) if people are unable to bring them to the auction themselves. Please contact Dick at 734-6149, prior to the auction.
**Lunch will be sold in the fellowship hall that day. Barbecues, hot dogs, pop, ice tea, water, coffee, bars and cookies will be sold throughout the sale. Women of the church will be providing the items as well as being in charge of the sales. You will be contacted in the near future requesting a specific food/drink item to be furnished for the auction. All these items should be brought to the fellowship hall kitchen by 5:00 that Friday afternoon, June 6th.
**All items to be auctioned, must be listed with Mick Niles by May 16th. A sales bill will be prepared and posted with those items immediately after that date. It will also appear in the local newspapers. Remember that “services” may also be auctioned, such as child care, mowing lawns, special dinners, providing flower bouquets, trips, caring for pets, baskets full of some kind product (or gift certificates to stores in town)
**In order for this project to be a success, we need to all be involved, the young, the mature, and the in between. $4,000 is a lot of money to raise in one day, but I know we can do it!!
**Invite your friends, relatives, and neighbors…and be present yourself if possible!
