Meet Our Pastor
Rev. Duane Neugebauer
I became pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church of Chamberlain on September 15,
1999. I am a native South Dakotan having grown up near Mitchell. I graduated
from Parkston High School, Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa and
Luther Seminary
in St. Paul, Minnesota (MDiv75). My year of internship was spent under the
supervision of Rev. J. Christian Quello at Gethsemane Lutheran Church
in Racine,
Wisconsin. I was ordained on July 13, 1975 at St. John Lutheran Church of rural
Dimock, SD.
I have served the following churches:
St. John, Hosmer, South Dakota, 1975-1979
Immanuel, Klara, North Viking & Viking, Maddock, North Dakota, 1979-1985
Goose River & Little Forks, Hatton, North Dakota, 1985-1991
Egeland & Our Savior's, Waubay, South Dakota 1991-1999 Ordination - 1975
I am married to Margie Ann Stoebner and we have two sons Joshua and his wife Elise who live in Denver, Colorado and Joel who moved from Waubay to Chamberlain in September 2002. Our first grandson Aaron was born in November of 2002.
