(Hebrews 13:14) We have been informed of the death on May 3 of Amanda Josephine Battleson, Golden Oaks, Minnesota. Mrs. Battleson is the mother of Pastor Dale Battleson, Stickney. Services for Mrs. Spilde were this morning, Monday, March 31, 2008 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls. Burial will be at North Preston Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lake Preston. (Hebrews 13:14) Pastor Brian Wasmoen, Redfield, has informed us of the death of his father, Richard Wasmoen of Albert Lea, Minnesota, this past Saturday, March 22. The funeral service is today, Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m. in Albert Lea. Please join us in prayer for Mr. Wasmoen's family and friends during this time of grief. 03.24.08 We have learned that UCC Pastor Jeff Wallace, who is serving St. Paul Lutheran in Java, was hospitalized late last week at St. Luke's Hospital, Aberdeen. He is recovering from surgery that was necessitated by a serious infection, and expects to be hospitalized for most of this week at least. (Hebrews 13:14) We have learned of the death this past Sunday, March 9, of Lois Eidsness, the wife of retired pastor Gene Eidsness, Brookings. The funeral will be held tomorrow, Thursday, March 13, at 10:30 a.m. at Rude's Funeral Home, Brookings, with burial at 2:30 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Cemetery, Henry, South Dakota. Today we ask you to join us in prayer as the Baeslers now mourn their baby, who died yesterday afternoon. (Hebrews 13:14) It is with great sorrow that I report the death of my father, William J. Reynolds Sr., Sioux Falls. Many who read this know that Dad and I were in the habit of meeting for lunch on Fridays; this past Friday he failed to keep that appointment. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, downtown Sioux Falls, with a Liturgical Wake at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 7, 2:00 p.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael Griffin presiding. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, My brother and I and our families are grateful for your prayers and support during our time of grief.
