Campus Life Leadership Positions

Campus Life provides leadership opportunities for students through various roles on campus.  All positions contribute to individual and community development through relationship building and programming, though the specifics vary from role to role.

  • February 2  Returning Staff Info Session for Creative Component 2.0 at 7 p.m. in Back Alley
  • Resume Workshops:  January 17 at 11:45 a.m. in Halverson Room; January 24 at 4 p.m. in Beloit Room; February 2 at 10 a.m. in Halverson Room
  • Drop In Resume Review in the Success Center: January 19 and 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and February 3 from 3-4:30 p.m.
  • February 6 Applications Due for Returning Staff

Positions

Welcome Week Co-Chairs:  Selected by the P&D Committee of ASA, the Co-Chairs' primary responsibility is to lead a committee through the coordination of Welcome Week.

Welcome Week Committee:  Responsible for coordinating the 4-day orientation held prior to the first day of class for incoming students. Learn more about Welcome Week.

Viking Guide:  Responsible for leading a small group of new students during Welcome Week and assisting with the 30 Day Challenge.

Southside Staff (Viking Guide & Viking Advisor):  Serve in two roles and should read through position descriptions for both Viking Guide and Viking Advisor. Share in the living community with first-year residents as Viking Advisors for Bergsaker or Solberg.

Viking Advisor:  Responsible for the development of connected and engaged residential communities that challenge and support each student, ultimately leading to personal growth and development.
