Nominations

The Covenant Award is presented five times every academic year, one award for each of our College's five shared core values: Christian, Liberal Arts, Excellence, Community and Service. These five awards are presented at different celebrations and events throughout the academic year such as homecoming worship, Parent Weekend, Community Service Day and other occasions during the academic year where members of the campus community come together to share the special talents and contributions of our students.

The awards are selected by a committee of faculty and staff. The committee seeks nominations from all members of the Augustana College community. Nomination forms are available for download from this page. Nomination forms for each of the five awards contain instructions, criteria and deadlines.

Covenant Award recipients receive a cast bronze medallion as recognition for this distinction (see picture of medallion on this page). Graduating recipients will wear the medallion as part of their academic attire during their Commencement Weekend festivities.
