Augustana College updates a list of students who have indicated an interest in providing child care for local families each term (fall semester, January Term, spring semester and summer). The list includes names and contact information, as well as a schedule of times each is likely to be available. Augustana does not collect references on these students, and collects and distributes this information as a service to the students and the community. All arrangements – hours, payment, etc. – are negotiated between the student and potential employer. A Southeast Sioux Falls family is currently seeking a responsible individual to care for their two boys, ages 8 and 11, in their home. Hours would be Monday through Thursday from 10:30 am to 2:45 pm, starting mid-May and lasting through mid-August. They ask that applicants are also able to provide reliable transportation.
