What the Elmen Center Offers:

The Recreational Services Department is the core of all recreational activities. Located in the Elmen Center on 33rd and Grange Ave, the Recreational Services Department provides numerous recreational opportunities for the campus community. Faculty, staff, students and their immediate families may take advantage of:

25 yard Swimming Pool
2 Racquetball Courts
Sports Forum (basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, indoor track, and batting cage)
Weight Room consisting of:
1 stairclimber
4 treadmills
1 Arc Trainer
2 Elliptical
free weights
Recumbant and upright excercise bicycles
Selectorize weight machines
Multi-Purpose/Wrestling Room that can be used for a variety of activities

Anyone wishing to use the weight room or pool, or wanting to check out recreational equipment need to present their Augustana identification card at the appropriate area. Children of Augustana employees who are younger than 16 years must be accompanied by an adult when using the swimming pool and/or weight room. Call 274-4637 for additional information.
