To Swim Employment Opportunities
Water Safety Instructors
Instructors teach a variety of Red Cross Certified classes ranging
from Toddlers through Adult. An American Red Cross Water Safety
Instructor Certificate is required. School Year Lessons are once
a week for eight weeks on Monday or Wednesday nights or Saturday
mornings. Summer Lessons are 4 times a week for two weeks.
Locker Room Attendants
These individuals assist children in the lockerroom and guiding
them onto the pool deck. They will assist the instructors in the
water with children as well as on the pool deck. Lifeguard certification
preferred, but not required.
Lifeguards (Learn to Swim Program)
Lifeguards are needed for open recreation time as well as during
our youth swim lesson program. Lifeguards must have a current Red
Cross Lifeguard certification.
