The 2007-08 Stavig Staff

Sita Riblet – Stavig Hall Director/Coordinator of Adult Learner & Career Services

I grew up in Ohio and moved to Iowa just before starting college at Dordt College where I got my B.A. in Psychology. After working for about two years in advertising, I moved to Sioux Falls to get my Master’s in Christian Leadership at Sioux Falls Seminary. I graduated this May and am looking forward to working in Student Services at Augustana College. I like hanging out with friends, having good conversations, reading, meeting new people and I always enjoy a good cup of tea!

I am really looking forward to getting to know the residents of Stavig Hall! I am excited about being able to journey alongside students as they ask the big questions about life and identity. I love helping people form relationships with one another and I’m looking forward to having fun! I’m also looking forward to the great experiences I’ll get working in the Career Center Suite.

I've had wonderful PA's as I've lived i nthe dorms the past 3 years. They modeled genuine care for those around them. Now, I want to help the girls on my floor to grow and have gobs of times where we just laugh and laugh. Plus, you get in a night workout climbing all those stairs doing rounds!

What are your summer plans?
This summer I will return from studying in China for one year. I am dying to visit my family and close friends. It's also my goal to see as many summer blockbusters as possible!
