The purpose of the Augustana Advocacy Team is to promote awareness on the campus of Augustana College and the surrounding community about advocacy issues consistent with the Basic Principles of Advocacy Ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
The purpose of the ACEA-SP is: 1. To develop an understanding and appreciation of the education profession and educational issues; 2. To Have a voice in educational issues and policies that affect us as future teachers; 3. To stimulate the highest ideals of professional ethics, standards, attitudes, and training; 4. To Promote leadership skills among future educators; 5. To enhance the education program at Augustana College by providing extra-curricular activities to gain a better understanding of the learning process and the content areas; 6. To develop a working correspondence between the education department at Augustana College and All student going into the field of education. 7. To work in association with all education affiliates identified in Article I of the document.
The Augustana College Cheer Team is a committed group of student athletes whose mission is to encourage excellent sportsmanship and to provide spirit and pride during athletic performances. The Augustana Computer Organization (ACO) gives Augustana students the opportunity to interact with other students and professors who have an interest in technology.
ACSJ is an all-encompassing social justice and social action organization which brings together faculty, students, and staff in order to work for justice on Augustana's campus, in the Sioux Falls community, in the state of South Dakota, and worldwide.
The Purpose of Augie Green is to provide the student body of Augustana College with an effective means in which to work on behalf of the environment.
The purpose of this organization is to create a sense of community among history majors and minors, to create opportunities for extracurricular activities centered on history, and to create public awareness of important historical issues.

The Augustana Nursing Student Association's mission is to provide nursing majors the opportunity to network with others who are preparing for a career in nursing.

The Augustana College Theatre Society is a student organization dedicated to the social and artistic aspects of theatre. Students do not have to major in theatre in order to join.
Augustana Student Association (ASA) is the student government at Augustana College. ASA works in cooperation with the administration, faculty, staff, and trustees of the College to tackle tough issues from academic accreditation, to buildings and grounds issues.
The Augustana Democrats (Augie Dems) are active in all parts of the political process. Our efforts range from grassroots level with local elections to candidate support at the federal level
The Augustana College Republicans is an organization which promotes the principles and policies of the Republican Party in order to actively support and promote the election of Republican candidates at all levels of the United States government.
The purpose of Augustana Art Club is to support the community of visual artists at Augustana College and promote an appreciation and understanding of art to the greater community.
To provide an outdoor recreational option to Augustana students and the community. To build a relationship with Recreational Services in order to promote the sport of disc golf.
Augustana Pre-Med Club is dedicated to fostering a community among pre-med students and providing fun and informative events for members.
Augustana Young Life Leadership gives students an opportunity to learn how to minister to high school students by building relationships with them on their turf. Young Life is a non-denominational group that introduces middle and high school aged youth to Christ and helps them to grow in their faith.
Blue Key Honor Society is a premier honor society that recognizes college seniors who have shown evidence of good character, outstanding leadership, and academic excellence.
The Chess Club creates an interest in and appreciation of chess in the Augustana community. The club has weekly meetings at which students, faculty and staff can learn and play chess, and learn more about chess' history and culture.
CIA is an organization devoted to serving the needs of the Catholic students on campus. Through Mass, speakers, catechesis, fellowship, retreats, service, and other activities it seeks to build a strong Catholic community and enrich the faith lives of students.
Circle K is a service organization affiliated with Kiwanis International offering Augustana students numerous community service opportunities.
Colleges Against Cancer is a program designed to help eliminate cancer by initiating and supporting the programs of the American Cancer Society on college campuses
The purpose of Cru is to "Win. Build. Send." Win - Give every student a chance to hear about God's love. Build - Provide student opportunities to grow in the Christian faith. Send - Equip people for a lifetime as Christians.
Dance Express, Augustana's dance team, performs at home men's basketball games and competitions. Selection is based upon auditions in the fall. Freshmen are encouraged to tryout.
Deaf Awareness organization promotes awareness of deafness on campus and in the community by exposing people to deafness such as teaching American Sign Language (ASL), interaction with those who are deaf or hard of hearing, etc.
The EDDA strives to compile the photos and stories of campus events and student life throughout the school year. We gather together to create a dynamic yearbook that you can carry with you from year to year. There are many ways to make contributions!
FCA strives to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ by providing opportunities for fellowship, service and guidance to all students in order to enhance individual spiritual growth and the overall social well being of the Augustana campus.
The purposes of this organization are as follows: a. Education of issues surrounding persons who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or questioning. b. Outreach to Augustana College and the larger community surrounding these issues c. The provision of a safe social environment in which persons of all identities can interact and fraternize.
The purpose and mission of this club is to create a forum for discussing current government-related events and professions within the government field. As a club we are committed to becoming involved with community service projects within Sioux Falls.
KAUR is Augustana's very own student-run radio station with a broadcasting range that reaches the entire city. Volunteers read news twice daily, do live broadcasts of sports events, and help review incoming CDs.
The Kong Su Do Karate Club demonstrates to students a traditional approach to martial arts with an emphasis placed on perfection, technique, and character.
Life Alliance is dedicated to promoting the sanctity of all human life, from conception until natural death, through awareness, education, and discussion.
The Mirror is Augustana's weekly college newspaper. It provides current news and feature material, and serves as the voice of Augustana's students. All staff members are eligible to receive one journalism credit for their work on the Mirror.

Outreach Ministries provides opportunities for students to serve and minister to congregations in the quad-state area. Teams of 10-20 students, led by two upper-class students travel approximately once per month to churches in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska.

The purpose of this club shall be: to gain understanding of current theories and procedures of the public relations profession, to encourage the highest ideals, and principles, to instill a professional attitude, and to encourage new professionals, associate, and eventually accredited membership in PRSA.
The purpose of S.K.O.L. (the Augustana student alumni association) is to instill three values of connections, tradition, and pride within the Augustana community.

The Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC) is part of the national Council for Exceptional Children organization and focuses on working with individuals of all ages with special needs.
This organization provides a forum for the open exploration of contemporary sociological research, the open avenues of exploration for prospective sociology majors, and provides community and fellowship to students within the sociology program.
Beta Beta Beta is the local chapter of the National Biological Honor Society. Membership is based upon academic excellence in the field of biology.

Their purpose is to provide an organized, efficient, and effective program of social, cultural, and developmental activities for the Augustana student body. Activities include: Films, Dances, Coffeehouses (acoustic nights, Battle of the Bands, etc), Entertainment (comedians, inflatables, etc.), Lectures (authors, world issues, etc.) and Big Events (concerts with well-known performers).
The purpose of this club shall be: 1. To introduce Augustana students, staff, and faculty and community to this "sport of the future." 2. To provide members an opportunity to play and improve their skills.
UTIC is a student Christian organization that meets every Thursday evening at 9 PM in the Morrison Commons Back Alley
The purpose of this organization is to provide forum for fine arts and academic programming for the Augustana Community.
The purpose of S.A.L.T. shall be to provide an avenue through which information on volunteer service opportunities and events may be distributed, to assist students in acquiring names, phone numbers, descriptions of agencies, and other means of contact with volunteer agencies throughout Sioux Falls, to provide incentives for volunteers at Augustana to continue their volunteer service, and to promote and nurture the desire to participate in volunteer opportunities among Augustana students, faculty, staff and administration.
The purpose of the Viking Days committee is to plan the activities for Augustana's annual homecoming
The Volleyball Club includes players of all skill levels, both men and women. The club holds practice twice a week in addition to playing in leagues and tournaments.
Voices for Choice at Augustana College is a student organization dedicated to raising campus awareness and providing a forum to discuss reproductive rights, educating students about sexual health, and advocating reproductive freedom.
The Augustana College Writers' Guild sponsors a number of campus events designed to encourage the understanding and delight of creative writing of Augustana students.
