Outdoor Activities Guidelines

Student Activities should be your FIRST STOP when planning an outdoor event. For many activities, a noise permit from the City of Sioux Falls is required. The Director of Student Activities will apply for this permit. The request for a noise permit must be made at least a week in advance.

Bonfires require notification to the fire department and maintenance. Contact the Director of Student Activities to plan this event at least one week in advance.

Other considerations for outdoor events include:

  • Dining Service for food, servers, tables, chairs, staging, trash bags.
  • Maintenance for grill, power hookups, trash pick-up.
