We are currently strategizing ways in which United Way can engage Generation Y (particularly college students) in giving/volunteering activities. The Sioux Empire United Way would like to recruit a team of college age volunteers who would be part of a committee. They would design and implement an awareness campaign. The first step is to educate about the organizations and then to create volunteer opportunities for students.
This is our plan so far. I am curious to see if there will be any student interested.
