Master of Ed Program Highlights

The Master of Education program at Augustana is delivered completely online and is offered to those who have earned a bachelor's degree and hold or are eligible for teaching licensure.

The program will feature a single, "learner-designed" area of concentration. This concentration can either be selected from pre-approved certificate options offered by Learners Edge or created by the student. For more information, visit the learner-designed option page.

Applications for this 13-16 month, non-thesis program will be reviewed when complete applications have been received, with a rolling admission process and the following deadlines. The decision to obtain your master’s degree is a significant investment in your future. In addition to enhancing your abilities to create positive learning environments for students, in most cases a master’s degree correlates to increased compensation. In addition, because the program is online, it will offer the convenience you need to continue your busy lifestyle while completing your degree requirements.

Most courses, with the exception of EDUC 695, are 7 weeks. Students can also transfer previously completed education courses for graduate credit within the area of concentration.
