The Master of Education in Special Education program at Augustana is offered to those who hold a bachelor’s degree in education and hold a current teaching license and/or those who have been certified through alternative paths and those interested in becoming certified teachers in the future.
The program will offer two areas of specialization in Special Education: K-12 and Early Childhood. In partnership with Learners Edge, the program will be delivered completely online.

Applications for this 13-16 month (K12) or 18-22 month (ECSE), non-thesis program will be reviewed when complete applications have been received, with a rolling admission process.
Augustana accepts applications for the Master of Education in Special Education program from residents of all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
Applications will be accepted from other countries.
Augustana holds accreditation with a variety of professional organizations.
