He continues to maintain a legal consulting business. He loves being in the classroom exploring the law with students.

Interests: Professor Harris’ current research interests include the effective use of alternative dispute resolution methods, employment law and the impact of laws and regulations on business. Further, he is avid explorer of cultures through study and travel abroad.

Memorable classroom moment: During a study abroad course in Norway, we visited a fish farm in northern Norway. It wasdawn as we began our 90-minute drive to the business. Given the early hour, students were not fully awake or aware of the natural beauty outside the bus window. Slowly, the students awoke to the natural beauty outside the window. The pink and purple hues of a dawn morning mixed with the white snow covered rugged terrain. Later, many would write in their reflective journals that this was the best day of their lives.

Advice for business students: Pursue excellence in everything you do.
