Mark Blackburn came to Augustana in 2005 and joined the Dean of Students Office staff in 2008. He earned his master's degree from Augustana and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of South Dakota.

Beth Elam has been an administrator in the Student Affairs Division at Augustana since 2009. She was appointed an assistant dean in 2011, and in 2014 assumed added duties as Augustana's Title IX coordinator. Elam has earned degrees from South Dakota State University (Master of Science in counseling) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sioux Falls.

Checka Leinwall joined the Augustana community in 2019 and serves as the violence prevention coordinator. Her responsibilities include educating the campus community on preventing domestic and dating violence, stalking and sexual assault. She also serves as a confidential reporter and advocates for students struggling with these issues. In previous roles, Leinwall has served as the chief student affairs officer and Title IX coordinator at three institutions. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Western Maryland College, an M.Ed. in counselor education from The Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. in higher education administration with a focus on student affairs and a minor in law from the University of Virginia.

Mariah Mogck joined the Augustana community in the fall of 2021 and serves as the mental health and wellness specialist. Her responsibilities include educating the campus community on mental health and also serves as a confidential resource for students. Previously, Mogck has worked as a counselor within the areas of addiction and severe mental illness in adults. She earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology and Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling from the University of South Dakota, and her areas of interest include addiction, LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety and mood disorders.

Rachel Rohrbach joined the Augustana community in the summer of 2021, and serves as administrative support for the Dean of Students Office. Rohrbach is originally from Georgia, and grew up on the south side of Atlanta. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in middle grades education and spent the previous five years (2015-2020) teaching sixth grade science.
