Affordability at AU

Students are often surprised at the low net cost to attend Augustana thanks to the following factors:

One-hundred-percent of full-time undergraduate students receive institutional gift aid (scholarships and/or grants) that do not have to be repaid. AU awards scholarships and/or grants based on academic achievement, talent (athletic, music, theatre and art) and financial need.
First-time freshmen who started Fall 2021, on average, received $37,030 in total aid.
Sixty-seven percent of Augustana students qualify for federal loans, federal grants and federal work-study jobs on campus.
