Who can come to Faith Fest?
Faith Fest is for sixth through eighth graders and their adult leaders. People from any tradition or worldview are welcome to attend.
How much does it cost?
$75 per middle school youth. Adult leaders attend free of charge. Registration fees cover two meals, activities, musicians and programmatic costs and a Faith Fest souvenir.
What is the deadline for registration?
Friday, Jan. 26. We appreciate you honoring the registration deadline.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Anyone who cancels after Jan. 26 will receive a 50% refund.
What about adult leaders?
We ask that at least one adult leader attend Faith Fest for every 10 youth from their congregation. Adult leaders attend free of charge.
Why has Fest Fest been changed from an overnight to a one-day event? I was really looking forward to sleeping on the floor of the Elmen Center!
Your enthusiasm for gymnasium sleepovers is unique and commendable. Feedback from others suggests that a day-long event feels more manageable to most people, so we're giving it a try.
Tell me about the off-campus service projects.
Each church will be assigned an off-campus service project somewhere in the Sioux Falls area. Groups will find out their service project when you arrive at Faith Fest. Congregations must provide transportation for their youth to and from off-campus service projects. Youth leaders should be sure that they have enough vehicles to transport youth on Saturday afternoon.
