Transportation
Getting to Sioux Falls from anywhere in the world is easy. The Sioux Falls Regional Airport (FSD) is served by Delta, United, American, Allegiant, and Frontier. The International Programs Office at Augustana offers free pick-up service from the airport for new students.
Augustana's central location in Sioux Falls provides easy access to all that the city offers. Many American college students have cars and international students often make new friends who are happy to provide transportation. Sometimes international students choose to pool resources to purchase and share an inexpensive car.
Sioux Falls has an extensive bike trail system, and Augustana Green (an environmental club) has a limited number of bicycles for free use. There is also a metro bus system. Route 2 stops on campus and provides connections to other routes throughout the city.
In addition to air travel, Greyhound bus lines provide transportation throughout the region.
