Augustana offers a variety of continuing education options that allow you to grow both professionally and personally.

  • Workshops
    • While most workshop participants are adults, high school seniors may also participate and receive college credit.
    • Augustana also partners with the Sioux Falls School District and others to offer undergraduate and graduate credit through Red Apple.

  • Conferences
    • Augustana University hosts conferences on timely and important topics of interest as a service to the regional Sioux Falls community
      • Autism Conference, a conference on autism spectrum disorders in our community.
      • South Dakota ASL Immersion event, providing biennial training and development to both professional and pre-professional sign language interpreters in an ASL environment.

  • Online Learning
    • Augustana provides a wide variety of flexible, graduate credit online course options through its partners that include Learners Edge, VESI and Educational Resources. Learn more about online learning.
    • Augustana collaborated with the CEEDAR Center and Learners Edge to develop four free online, on-demand workshops on various "Features of Effective Instruction" to support literacy development in inclusive classrooms to K-12 teachers in South Dakota. Even though these workshops give CEUs to South Dakota teachers, anyone can access them for free. Learn more about these free workshops.
