- 6:33 AM Bergsaker Hall (1110 W 33rd St) Fire Alarm. The CSO on dispatch received a full alarm activation on the alarm computer and saw the strobes were activated via the security cameras. He dispatched CSOs in the field to check for fire and evacuate the residence hall while calling SFFR to respond. The alarm was triggered by a student frying some food on the kitchen stove. He said he did not realize it was causing so much smoke. Fire fighters reset the alarm panel and students were allowed to return to their rooms. An incident report was completed.

- 7:25 PM Costello Hall (2413 S. Grange Ave) Wellness Check. Resident of the building reported an extremely foul odor emanating from one of the apartments. CSO and the HDOC could not detect any odor out of the ordinary in the hallway. They contacted the occupants of the apartment in question and found no unpleasant odor or anything else out of the ordinary in the apartment. An incident report was completed.

- 6:16 PM Midco Arena (2510 S Grange Ave) Medical Aid. Spectator at the hockey game reported fainting while waiting in line to purchase food. The on-scene medic responded, checked him out, and based on the subjects statements, assurances it has happened before and probably resulted from anxiety and his lack of food all day, released him to watch the rest of the game. The subject declined any further medical attention and was advised to notify staff immediately if he started to feel unwell again. An incident report was completed.

- 1:51 AM Stavig Hall (2008 S Walts Ave) Fire Alarm Malfunction. CSO's responded to a call from a student regarding intermittent fire alarms randomly going off in various rooms on the 8th floor. Only the individual buzzers in rooms were activating momentarily and would stop and others would activate. The strobe system did not activate nor did the building wide alarm system, Campus Safety Office computer or CSO cell phone notification. CSO's determined there was no fire but contacted SFFR who responded and confirmed it was safe. They ordered the building be placed on hourly fire watch which has been done, until the alarm system is repaired. Maintenance has been notified. An incident report has been completed.

- 10:02 AM Stavig Hall (2008 S Walts Ave) Fire Alarm. CSO's responded to a full activation of the fire alarm in the residence hall and evacuated the students to wait in Granskou Hall. While waiting for SFFR to arrive they determined there was no fire or smoke in the building. Upon arrival, fire personnel reset the alarm panel and advised if there were any further issues, the building would have to go into fire watch until the system is checked and repaired. An incident report was completed.
- 5:12 AM Bergsaker Hall (1110 W 33rd St) Found Property. Student reported finding a plastic zip-lock baggie containing 3 white, round pills with no markings on them or the bag. A CSO responded to take custody of the unidentified pills and booked them into our evidence holding cage pending disposition. An incident report was completed.

- 1:44PM Fryxell Humanities Center, Lobby (2120 S Grange Ave) Unaccompanied Minor. CSO found a juvenile who had been waiting for his parents alone for several hours after his band practice had ended. He was unable to provide a phone number or other means of contacting his parents so SFPD responded and were able to reunite him with his mother. An incident report was completed.

- 1:08 PM Stavig Hall Loop, Sidewalk (2008 S Walts Ave) Medical Aid. CSO's responded to a call of a student who slipped on the ice during a snow storm and broke her ankle. She refused offers of a paramedic response by CSO's multiple times and remained seated on the sidewalk until her mother arrived to take her to the ER. CSO's remained with her while she waited, providing blankets and ice packs to keep her as comfortable as possible. They helped her into her mother's vehicle and she drove her to the hospital. An incident report was completed.
- 3:26 AM Tuve Hall (2016 S Menlo Ave) Medical Aid. CSO's observed SFFR and a Patient Care Ambulance responding to the west main entrance to the residence hall. They stood by as contact was made with a student who had called regarding chest pain. After being checked out , it was determined he did not require further medical care at this time and fire and ambulance personnel departed. The student was advised to call Campus Safety if his symptoms persisted or got worse. An incident report was completed.

- 6:22 PM Mikkelsen Library, 3rd Floor Cubicle (2117 S. Summit Ave) Disorderly Conduct. CSO's responded to a call of a non-student viewing pornography on his personal computer in the Library. They observed and recorded this behavior for a short time before making contact, escorting him off campus property and advising him he would be charged with trespassing if he returned. An incident report was completed.

- 5:36 PM Midco Arena (2510 S Grange Ave) Injured Subject. At 5:41 PM on Wednesday, 12/10/25 the Campus Safety office received a phone report that a youth hockey team player had been injured at the arena on Monday and the caller was requesting video of the incident be pulled. There had been no prior report of this made and no medics were requested or responded at the time of occurrence. An incident report was completed at this time.
- 11:30 AM Service Center Annex, Wagoner Hall Parking Lot (2180 S. Grange Ave) Collision. While clearing snow from the parking lot with a Caterpillar Payloader, a contractor hit a parked vehicle causing minor damage. SFPD responded and issued red tags so the vehicles can be repaired. An incident report was completed.

- 4:56 AM Stavig Hall, Fire Lane Loop (2008 S Walts Ave) Vehicle Tow. CSO observed veh parked in posted 15 minute/Tow Zone at 3:30 AM and cited it at 3:54 AM. A review of camera footage shows the vehicle had been parked and not moved since 1:51 AM. Vehicle was towed by Eastgate Towing, leaving campus with the vehicle at 5:58 AM. An incident report was completed.

- 7:59 PM Midco Arena, JJ's Suite (2510 S Grange Ave) Medical Aid. A 10 year old female spectator at the hockey game ran into the closed glass door at the south entrance to the JJ's Suite. She was checked and treated by the on scene medic for a bloody nose. Her parents declined further assistance once the bleeding stopped, and returned to watching the remainder of the game. An incident report was completed.
- 2:00 PM Madsen Social Science Center (2301 S. Summit Ave) Theft. A professor reported an unknown person had taken a 4"x6" photograph from the bulletin board outside his office without permission. The photo was removed between 2:00 PM Friday and 10 AM Monday 12/8. An incident report was completed.

- 11:00 PM Wagoner Hall, Kitchen (2300 S Grange Ave) Fire Alarm. CSO's responded to a full activation of the residence hall fire alarm. Upon arrival they evacuated the building and located the source of the activation which was in the kitchen where a student had burned popcorn in a microwave. SFFR responded and reset the alarm panel after determining there was no further threat. Students were allowed to return to the building when the Fire unit cleared the scene. An incident report was completed.
- 11:20 AM Costello Hall (2413 S. Grange Ave) Vandalism. While on foot patrol, CSO observed the laundry room window was broken. Upon checking outside he observed footprints in the snow leading up to the window indicating a deliberate act since there is no reason for anyone to walk up to that window. An incident report was completed.

- 11:01 PM Granskou Hall (2009 S Prairie Ave) Medical Aid. CSO's responded to a call of a disorderly student and found a subject who appeared to be under the influence of some type of drug. Paramedics responded and the student was transported to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment. An incident report was completed.
- 9:59 AM East Hall (2001 S. Summit Ave) Radiator Odor. Student reported the radiator in his room might have a gas leak due to an odor emanating from it when the heat comes on. On call maintenance was called and advised there are no gas lines in the radiators or the dorm rooms since they use steam from the campus boiler plant. student was advised to submit a maintenance request if the odor persists. An incident report was completed.

- 12:00 PM East Hall (2001 S. Summit Ave) Wellness Check. Campus Safety received a call from a concerned parent stating she was unable to reach her son via his cell phone. CSO's and the OCHD checked his room and he was present. The student said he was sleeping and had not heard his phone. CSO's observed no cause for concern so they left the room as the parent arrived and made contact with the student. An incident report was completed.

- 11:20 PM Foundation Heights, Construction Site (N/E Corner of University Place & Grange) Property Damage. Due to high wind gusts an approximately 12'X12' section of framed plywood wall panel ripped free from the top floor of the apartment complex being built on the corner lot. It fell to the ground onto the street below damaging the fence around the site and leaving splintered wood in the road. University Place was coned off and a CSO was posted to prevent anyone from entering the area as an additional section of wall appeared ready to fall. An incident report was completed.
- 11:00 AM Wagoner Hall, Laundry Room (2300 S Grange Ave) Theft. Student reported leaving a basket in the laundry room while his clothes were in the washer and drier. Upon returning to collect the apparel the basket was gone. CSO's identified the student who took the item and she said had mistaken it for her own which also was in the laundry room. She retrieved hers and returned the other one to the rightful owner. An incident report was completed.

- 10:00 AM Granskou Hall, South Bike Rack. (2009 S Prairie Ave) Property theft. Student reported he had left his electric scooter parked at the bike rack at about 8:00 PM Saturday night 11/22 and when he wanted to use it at about 10:00 AM, Monday 11/22 it was no longer there. The scooter was not locked with any bike lock but he said it was password protected so nobody could ride it. An incident report was completed.

- 8:00 PM University Center, Parking Lot (2100 S. Summit Ave) Hit & Run Collision. Student reported a vehicle had crashed into the wall on the east side of the Welcome Center lot and the 2 occupants had walked away. CSO's notified SFPD and the driver was located. PD officers had the vehicle towed away. An incident report was completed.
- 4:00 AM Solberg Hall parking lot (2312 S Grange Ave) Vehicle tow. CSO observed a vehicle parked in the lot without a valid parking permit. Upon checking it was discovered the vehicle had 10 prior violations on file including a tow warning sticker issued on 10/19/25.The vehicle was towed by East Gate Towing. An incident report was completed.
- 2:37 AM Tuve Hall (2016 S Menlo Ave) Noise Complaint/Alcohol Violation. CSO's responded to a noise complaint and found 5 people with some alcohol in a room talking loudly. after determining they were not intoxicated, several were allowed to leave and two non-students who had planned to stay overnight were allowed to remain with the resident of the room who was cooperative and dumped the alcohol in a sink. An incident report was completed.

- 10:44 AM Edith Mortenson Center (2112 S Grange Ave) Fall. Witness reported seeing a person fall down some stairs. When CSO's arrived, they were advised the person had already left the scene and had not left any information to facilitate contact. An incident report was completed.

- 6:30 PM Our Saviors Lutheran Church (909 W 33rd St) Suspicious Person. Church staff reported a suspicious person in the building. CSO's responded and found the female subject in a wheel chair who had been in the rest room spreading toilet paper all over the floor. She stated she had spilled coffee and was cleaning it up before her ride arrived. An incident report was completed.
- 4:53 PM Edith Mortenson Center, Parking Lot (2112 S Grange Ave) Suspicious Subject. The Campus Safety dispatcher received a report of a subject in the parking lot accosting students to preach to them. CSO's made contact and advised he could not do so on campus without prior approval from the Administration and he agrees to leave campus until he could receive such approval. - 12:55 AM Granskou Hall (2009 S Prairie Ave) Noise Complaint. CSO's responded to a report of loud talking and laughing from a room on the 3rd floor of the residence hall. Upon arrival they found five students in the room. The resident was cooperative and sent them to their own rooms when instructed to do so. An incident report was completed.

- 1:37 AM Bergsaker Hall (1110 W 33rd St)Noise Complaint/Alcohol Violation. CSOs responded to a noise complaint and when the room resident opened the door they observed several open alcoholic beverages in plain sight, in addition to 8 students. They were cooperative and left the room after producing ID. An incident report was completed.

- 8:14 PM Midco Arena (2510 S Grange Ave) Medical Aid. 10 year old spectator at the hockey game was struck on the top of his head by a puck that went over the protective barrier. He was checked by the on scene medic who found minor swelling but the skin was not broken. He gave the boy an ice pack and the victim and his father declined further assistance, attending the remainder of the game. An incident report was completed.
- 12:30 PM Bergsaker Hall Parking Lot (1110 W 33rd St) Vehicle Tow. Signs were posted at all of the residence halls and the commons and an email was sent to all students advising there would be no parking allowed in the Bergsaker lot due to the hockey game scheduled for 11/15/25. The lot was coned off on 11/14/25 to block vehicles from entering. One vehicle remained after noon on 11/15/25 and was towed out of the lot by Jim & Ron's Towing. It was dropped in the Welcome center parking lot. An incident report was completed.
- 8:42 AM Stavig Hall (2008 S Walts Ave) Well-being Check. Campus Safety Office received a request to check on a student when she failed to show up for a scheduled meeting with her aunt at the business office to make a payment on her tuition on Friday and her aunt was unable to reach her by phone. CSO and Student Affairs made contact with student on Saturday and she said she forgot about the meeting and her phone was on silent mode. She was advised to contact her aunt. An incident report was completed.

- 4:30 PM Fryxell Humanities Center, Wagoner Parking Lot (2121 S. Grange Ave) Hit & Run Collision. While patrolling campus CSO came across a SFPD officer taking a report in the lot. Student reported her vehicle had been hit and damaged some time between midnight Tuesday 11/11 and the time of this report to SFPD. In addition to the police report, an incident report was completed.

Student reported 2 male subjects repeatedly knocking on her door, rattling the handle and even opening the door one time over about a one hour period and running away when she asked who was there. CSOs responded and were able to identify the subjects through security cameras. An incident report was completed.

- 10:00 PM Mikkelsen Library (2117 S. Summit Ave) Disorderly Conduct. Library Staff reported a non-student sleeping in the building. CSOs contacted him and escorted him from the facility after waking the the subject up and obtaining his identity. An incident report was completed.
- 2:00 PM Morrison Commons, Campus Safety Office (2112 S Grange Ave) Fraud/Threats. Student reported receiving threatening text messages after being sent an electronic check which she deposited in her account. She was advised to block the number, file a police report and notify Campus Safety if she receives any further contact. An incident report was completed.
- 1:15 PM Valhalla House (1923 S. Prairie Ave) Fire Alarm, Full Activation. CSOs responded to the residence and evacuated the sole occupant present. He stated he had been cooking and there was obvious smoke in the kitchen area but no sign of fire anywhere in the house other than the burnt food. SFFR arrived and reset the fire alarm panel after a walk-through confirmed what the CSOs had reported. An incident report was completed.
- 12:00 PM Stavig Hall Bike rack (2008 S Walts Ave) Bike Theft. Student reported her bicycle had been stolen from the bike rack to the south of the building sometime before noon. She stated the bike had been locked but could give no further information. An incident report was completed.

- 6:25 PM Kirkeby-Over Stadium (2700 S. Lake Ave) Stray Animal. While walking rounds through the stadium, CSO came across a stray cat on the Concourse Level. It appeared to be healthy but hungry. Animal control was called and responded to take custody of the feline. An incident report was completed.

- 11:59 AM Summit Avenue at exit from Mikkelsen Library parking lot (2117 S. Summit Ave) Traffic collision. Sodexo employee driving a company golf cart did not see an oncoming vehicle as he pulled out of the library driveway to cross to the welcome canter and collided with a vehicle driven by a student. SFPD responded and no injuries were reported. An incident report was completed.

- 9:45 PM Morrison Commons, Campus Safety Office (2112 S Grange Ave) Disorderly conduct. Student reported his roommate in Granskou Hall had posted a meme on a social media platform which made him feel threatened. Since he is already in the process of being reassigned to a different room Residence life placed him in a temporary room until the move is finalized. The roommate was interviewed by staff and it was determined that there would be no problems from the individual. An incident report was completed.

- 10:30 AM Stavig Hall Bike rack (2008 S Walts Ave) Attempted Bike Theft. Student reported a cable bike lock he used to secure his bicycle to the south bike rack outside the residence hall had been cut. The bike had not been stolen since he had it secured with an additional solid metal U-lock that was not cut. an incident report was completed.
- 1:52 AM Bergsaker Hall (1110 W 33rd St) Disorderly conduct. CSO observed SFFR and Medics in the Bergsaker loop as he was patrolling the campus. Since the Campus Safety office had not received any call, CSOs entered the residence hall to find out what was going on. As they did so, the Medics and Fire personnel were leaving and advised the patient had refused transport. CSOs attempted to identify the patient and a student interfered, telling him not to say anything while she tried to push him forward toward the exit from the lobby. CSO had to raise his voice and tell them to stop and provide ID which the non-student did. they were then allowed to leave. An incident report was completed.
- 1:45 AM Solberg Hall, 1st floor women's rest room (2312 S Grange Ave) Alcohol violation. CSOs and the HDOC responded to a call of a student locked in the women's room, not responding to knocking on the locked door. CSO was able to open the door and wake the student. After determining her blood alcohol level was going down by taking several breath tests, she was left in her friends care. An incident report was completed.
