Biography 

Dr. Evan Andreyo earned his B.S. in exercise science and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. He completed an orthopaedic residency at Massachusetts’s General Hospital Institute for Health Professions and is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopaedic and sports physical therapy. Andreyo is currently working on his Ph.D. in health sciences with a concentration in human and sports performance at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Utah, with anticipated completion in Spring 2024. His research interests include anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and distance running. Andreyo has published work and given professional presentations on rehabilitation after ACL reconstruction, return to sport testing, factors related to ACL injury and minimalist footwear in distance running.

 

Andreyo teaches content with Augustana in musculoskeletal practice and the management of complex patients. In the past, he served as a clinic director in private practice for several years, holding clinical interests in ACL injury prevention and post-surgical rehabilitation, distance running and concussion. Andreyo currently lives in Pennsylvania with his family and enjoys spending time with his wife and children, distance running, resistance training, reading and woodworking.
