Biography 

Dr. Kelly Kearney is a doctoral-level board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). She joined Augustana University in 2024 as an assistant professor in the Master of Education in Special Education — Applied Behavioral Analysis program. She earned an Ed.D. in special education in 2018 from Florida Atlantic University. She has worked primarily with teenagers and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since receiving her BCBA-D certification. Kearney's research primarily uses single-subject design methodology to develop socially-valid interventions to teach self-determination and employability skills to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
