Biography 

Dr. Tiffany Barrett received her DPT from the University of Colorado and is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy. She brings years of clinical expertise working with patients with low back and neck pain as well as running-related injuries. Barrett is working on her D.S. in rehabilitation sciences at Texas Tech University, with anticipated completion in Fall 2024. Her research interests include the implementation of various programs for low back pain and running analysis and translating evidence into clinical practice.

 

Barrett is passionate about DPT educational pedagogy and increasing student self-reflection and metacognition. Her teaching philosophy centers around inspiring students to be self-driven, and her teaching responsibilities within the DPT program at Augustana include musculoskeletal practice and anatomy.

 

Barrett lives with her husband and three young children in Waco, Texas. She can be found spending time outside, hiking, skiing and running in her spare time.
