Biography
Dr. Trent Trombley joined the faculty at Augustana University in 2023 as an associate professor of anthropology. Trombley obtained his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in the department of anthropology in 2023 with support of U.S. Fulbright Program. He specializes in biological anthropology, with a focus in bioarchaeology — the analysis of human skeletal and dental remains recovered from archaeological and/or historical contexts. Trombley has worked predominantly in Mediterranean Europe, with an emphasis on medieval Italy and Portugal.
