Director of International Programs
Donn Grinager, Director of International Programs earned his bachelor's degree at Dakota Wesleyan University in 1984. Upon graduation, Donn was a member of the Peace Corps and served in Nepal. After earning a master's degree in religion, he participated in the Japan Exchange Teaching Program between 1989-1991. He has been at Augustana in his current role since 1992.
Director of International Admission and Advising
Ben graduated from Augustana College in 2004 with a degree in international studies and Spanish. He was a pitcher on the Viking baseball team and spent a semester at the University of Granada in Spain. After graduation, he worked as an International Coordinator at Bodoe University College in Norway. Ben is currently working on a master's degree in international education from the School for International Training Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont.
Associate Director of International Programs
Cathy is a graduate of Rutgers University. She majored in French and spent a year studying abroad at the Université de Tours. Over the past 10 years, Cathy has taught all levels of French and has run numerous courses abroad at Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School, an independent high school near Boston. After earning a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, Cathy was appointed Director of Academics at CH-CH in 2007. A family move to Sioux Falls in late 2009 led Cathy to her current position at Augustana.
