Whether you are interested in a major or minor in music, the Augustana University School of Music offers rigorous and rewarding opportunities for those who want to make music their vocation or avocation. In music, students have the opportunity to participate in several wind, choral and string ensembles.

Theatre

In theatre, student actors, musicians, designers and technicians produce four main stage productions per year and are involved in numerous student productions and organizations, including Brand Name Improv and the student-led Augustana Collaborative Theatrical Society (ACTS).

The Visual Arts

In the visual arts, our Center for Visual Arts houses studios for printmaking, sculpture, painting, ceramics, drawing and graphic design, as well as galleries for professional and student exhibitions.

City of the Arts

Outreach efforts to the local community include more than 100 performances, concerts and exhibits, several camps, festivals and competitions hosted on campus and the Sioux Falls arts scene, which has so much to offer our campus community.
