Augustana University partners with the Arizona Education Association (AEA), Missouri Education Association (MNEA), South Dakota Education Association (SDEA) and Vermont Education Association (VT NEA) to offer graduate credit for the successful completion of NEA micro-credentials. This provides teachers the ability to earn graduate credit for up to 203 different 1-credit hour courses.
The SDEA's Certification Bank includes more information to get started, browse micro-credentials and manage your certifications with all of Augustana's partners. To login, you'll need to create an account. However, you can view the library without an account by clicking "Micro-Credential Library."
What is a micro-credential?
NEA micro-credentials are a competency-based digital form of certification. They support professional educators in the development of skills and knowledge acquisition needed to improve professional practice that supports student success.
How can I earn graduate credit for completing a micro-credential?
Augustana University is the exclusive crediting institution for micro-credential graduate credit in partnership with the SDEA in South Dakota, in addition to the Arizona Education Association (AEA), Missouri Education Association (MNEA) and Vermont Education Association (VT NEA). Upon completion of a course, educators can register for credit. (Use this form for completion with any of the partners.)
Can the credits earned be used towards a master’s degree?
