The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at Augustana University is proudly showing the “Augustana Student Invitational” — on view through Friday, Sept. 6. A closing gallery reception will also take place on Sept. 6, from 7-9 p.m.
As a requirement to earn an art major at Augustana, students present a portfolio of their work to art faculty and their peers in a public critique. This gallery exhibit features student works selected by the art faculty from their spring 2024 reviews. These exemplify a range of projects created in Augustana art courses, dedicated to teaching every artist the fundamentals of art and design, honing technical skills, as well as helping each student find their unique voice and vision.
