    Join us for the new Royalty Lip Sync Battles, where the royals will introduce themselves and showcase their lip sync talents before Viking Days begins!

    Augustana will be giving back to the community by partnering with Serving and Learning Together (SALT) and Letters of Love to provide tie blankets, handmade letters and painted rocks for the greater Sioux Falls community. SoDak Soda will be providing gourmet soft drinks throughout the event!

    Student organizations will have the opportunity to work on building/decorating their floats for the Viking Days parade. 

1976 ALUMNI EVENT

  • 50th Reunion Pre-Gathering | 5:30-9 p.m. | Melvern Halversen Atrium, Fryxell Humanities Center

    The Class of 1976 is invited to join their classmates in celebrating their 50th reunion with an informal gathering. Matthew Whitaker, Augustana's artist-in-residence will be present to perform live piano music during the celebration. Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided. 

    Registration is required, $25.

    Nursing graduates from the Class of 1976 are invited to gather and reminisce over coffee and rolls. This event is free.

  • Honor Guard Luncheon | 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. | Our Savior's Lutheran Church (909 W. 33rd St.)

    Class of 1976 alumni and those who have already celebrated their 50th class reunion are invited to join us as we induct the Class of 1976 into the Honor Guard, recognize the 2026 cohort of Honorary Alumni and hear about campus updates from Augustana President Stephanie Herseth Sandlin.

    Registration is required, $25.

    The Class of 1976 is invited to join their classmates and share memories of classmates who have passed away. A formal church service, led by pastors from the Class of 1976, will be held. All are welcome.

  • 50th Reunion Dinner | 5:30-11 p.m. | Holiday Inn City Centre-Downtown (100 W. 8th St.), Falls West Room

    The Class of 1975 is invited to join their classmates and celebrate their 50th class reunion. Reunion memory books will be distributed at this event and a class photo will be taken before dinner is served. A presentation of the Class of 1976 Scholarship will take place with Augustana President Stephanie Herseth Sandlin, who will share brief remarks.

    Registration is required, $55.
