Biography 

Dr. Jenn Davia earned a B.S. in Physical Therapy from University of Florida, followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and DHSc from University of Indianapolis, focusing on education, leadership and scholarship. Davia’s research interests include intraprofessional education in physical therapy and predictive analysis.

 

As a physical therapist with more than 30 years of experience, Davia practiced in various settings including inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient hospital-based rehabilitation, acute care and private practice. Her passion lies in pelvic health where she completed Certificates of Advanced Practice in Pelvic Health and Obstetric Health (CAPP-Pelvic and CAPP-OB) and is an ABPTS Board-Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (Emeritus). She lab assisted and taught pelvic health continuing education courses for the APTA Academy of Pelvic Health from 2012-24. She has more than five years of experience as a physical therapist assistant program director. She also served on onsite team visits for the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) for three years.
