Honor Society
Augustana's School of Business was granted membership into the Eta Kappa chapter of Sigma Iota Epsilon (SIE) in 2024. As an honorary and professional fraternity, SIE's mission is to stimulate interest and achievement in the field of management by encouraging and recognizing scholastic excellence and promoting cooperation between the academic and practical aspects of management. SIE seeks to acknowledge individuals and organizations which impact the field of management while highlighting the value of scholastic achievement in the field.
Meet the Dean
Dr. Roxanne Stevens is the dean of the School of Business. Stevens, originally from Maryland, has served as an undergraduate and graduate faculty member, program chair and, most recently, interim dean at Azusa Pacific University in California. She earned an undergraduate degree from Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California, as well as a B.S. in business administration and B.A. in business management from the University of Phoenix in Arizona. Stevens also holds an MBA from Azusa Pacific University and DBA from Alliant International University in California.

Kadin Groen ‘26, of Sioux Falls, is double majoring in finance and fintech — part of the Augustana University Fintech Program by Pathward™. This summer, Groen interned with The Bancorp in Sioux Falls. Because of Groen’s successful internship, he was offered a role at The Bancorp as a product development analyst.
Jaida Haynes ‘25, of Philip, South Dakota, is a business administration major with minors in social work and sign language studies. This summer, she utilized her skills off campus and interned with The Foster Network in Sioux Falls — a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families who care for children placed through a licensing agency.
Payton Anderson ‘25, of Sherburn, Minnesota, is an accounting and business administration double major. He is also part of the Augustana Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) Program. Anderson, a Viking Wrestling student-athlete, is interning with RSM — an assurance, tax and consulting services firm in downtown Sioux Falls. Through his internship, he has gained hands-on experience with assurance and audits.
